STAR Work Orders App is one of the applications released on the new STAR Suite technological platform, supported by the STAR Mobility Concept. All STAR Apps are modern, user-friendly, and easy to learn.

The app is designed to support the crew with all job details while performing their maintenance jobs at the location on board and provide additional information if needed. The application gives the user insight into all the equipment details such as job instructions, spare parts or other materials needed, tips and tricks, images, drawings, or instruction videos.

While executing the job, the application can provide interactive checklists for job performance and condition reporting. Users can add written reports and images to the job report. The STAR Work Orders App also supports creating new corrective jobs with descriptions of the equipment that needs repair, adding images, videos, and written descriptions while the user is on the location.

Online and offline

While the mobile device is connected to the Wi-Fi onboard, the user can explore the Star IPS database maintenance data. If the job is to be done in an enclosed space without Wi-Fi, which is the usual case, the user can download the job(s) to the mobile device forehanded. Other supporting registers are also downloaded in case the user needs additional information while doing the job. Once downloaded, the user can perform the same job reporting operations as they would online, as all data is temporarily stored on the mobile device. Once the app is connected to Wi-Fi the stored information will be synchronized with the Star IPS database.
