We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Project Manager to join our STAR Team in Trondheim, Norway.

Job Description

The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate various projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning
    • Responsibility for planning procedures, implementation of milestones, and developing flowcharts across the project organization.
    • Responsibility for developing concrete and detailed project plans – time, resources, budget, tasks, milestones.
    • Responsibility for developing and maintaining overall project and resource overview with priority.
    • Interact with other project members, hold meetings to develop project plans, and present these to relevant actors before starting the project.
    • Understand the project’s needs; identify and address challenges in planning, developing, and implementing solutions.
    • Contribute to planning strategy according to customer and project requirements.
    • Ensure that all internal and external stakeholders can make comments and input to ensure a common understanding of project plans.
  • Project follow-up
    • Maintain and follow up on project plans in projects.
    • Project coordination and documentation management.
    • Provide guidance and support to relevant parties in the project.
    • Work with other project members to ensure quality and delivery within the due date.
  • Project reporting
    • Make sure that the cost matches the project plan.
    • Ensure that the technical interface effectively meets scope and objectives.
    • Report cost overview.
    • The position reports directly to the Operations Director.

Education/Experience

  • BSc/MSc. or equivalent in a technical, financial/administrative direction.
  • Relevant work experience will be able to compensate for a lack of education.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a project manager, preferably within the oil and gas or maritime industry.

Working language: Norwegian and English.
