SIS sparked interest at Asia Pacific Maritime 2010

Star Information Systems sparked interest at the Asia Pacific Maritime Exhibition & Conference in Singapore on March 24^th - 26^th. The exhibition attracted decision makers from both shipping and offshore companies in the area, and SIS was pleased to welcome many visitors to our stand located in the Norwegian Pavilion.

SIS was privileged to have Mr. Lam Yi Young, Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), and his team visiting our stand after his opening ceremony address on April 24^th. Mr. Lam was given a brief presentation of the SIS products and services by our Senior Area Manager in Singapore, Mr. Jeffrey Lai (photo).

During the exhibition visitors from several of our Singapore based customers visited our booth; both Odfjell, ASP Ship Management, Seadrill, Nor Offshore, OSM Ship Management, Solvang, Frigstad, Nordic Maritime and Wallenius stopped by for a friendly chat and to be updated on the latest news from SIS.

SIS was also pleased to be invited by Norwegian Ambassador to Singapore, Ms. Janne Julsrud, to attend the traditional cocktail reception at the Norwegian Embassy in Singapore. The reception gathered Norwegian maritime companies attending the Asia Pacific Maritime Exhibition & Conference, with the Ambassador emphasising the importance of these companies to maintain a strong relationship between Singapore and Norway.

We would like to thank both existing customers and other companies who visited our stand for making the Asia Pacific Maritime 2010 a successful event!
