Siem Offshore AS opts for SISCommerce
Siem Offshore AS has signed a contract with SISCommerce to increase the efficiency of their fleet supply.
Siem Offshore will use the SISCommerce e-procurement solution to supply their fleet of 14 support vessels. SISCommerce enables the purchasers at Siem Offshore to send inquiries and orders electronically to their suppliers and receive quotations and order confirmations directly into their purchasing system with no re-typing of data. SISCommerce is integrated with the Star Central Purchasing System and requires no additional user interface. In addition to receiving quotations and order confirmations effortless into Star CPS, the purchasers can also easily monitor the progress of each inquiry and order with continuously updated statuses from SISCommerce. Through SISCommerce the customer can also trade with fully integrated suppliers such as MAN B&W, Alfa 
Laval Nordic, Wilhelmsen Ships Service, Wärtsilä, and Hamworthy Waste Water Systems.
