SIS User Conference 2009
The 2009 SIS User Conference brought together customers from all over the world, enjoying valuable days of learning, discussing and networking. Arranged at the Melìa Madrid Princesa Hotel, the conference benefited from both excellent arrangement facilities as well as a central location for exploring the city of Madrid.
Key note speakers, customer representatives, and SIS personnel all made a great effort in contributing to a successful event, both professionally and socially. With some participants joining for
the first time, and others joining for the eight year in a row, the conference created an excellent platform for knowledge sharing and networking.
Among this year's conference highlights were the presentation of the soon to be launched Star Fleet Dashboard for KPI and trend reporting, a live presentation of the Star Fleet Supply Management system, and the presentation of new features in Star IPS 3.20.
In addition, workshops in the areas of Maintenance,
HSEQ, and Fleet Supply & Logistics created enthusiasm and lively discussions among the participants. The results from these workshops will also play an important role in further development of the Star systems and services.
